How it plays

Everything you need to know before you arrive, and nothing that would spoil it.

The story

The sky will darken. Someone has been waiting for it.

For centuries, the Order has protected humanity from the Eclipse. To survive the next one, the Order must gather a vast Offering. But a hidden faction of Heretics intends to take it for themselves.

“For three days you will be tested, watched, and asked to prove your loyalty. But before you trust the person beside you, know this: some among you are already serving the dark side.”
The High Priest
Two sides

Every guest arrives as a Novice. Not everyone stays loyal.

LOYALISTSMost of the house. Win Trials, grow the Offering, read the room and vote the Heretics out before the Eclipse.
HERETICSA hidden few, chosen in secret on the first night. Blend in, steer the votes, remove Loyalists one by one and claim the Offering.
The weekend, step by step

From Friday's first secret to Sunday's reveal.

Day one

Friday

From 7pm

The Confessional

While everyone settles in and gets to know each other, you're called for a private one-to-one with the High Priest. He'll ask how badly you crave the Heretic's power.

Want to be a Heretic? Convince him. Rather not? Say so, and you can steer well clear.

Initiation

Gold cloaks on. One by one, you open a sealed envelope and learn your role in silence. Soon after, the Heretics meet in secret for the first time. Nobody else knows a thing.

The first Trial

Before the night is out, the game begins.

Day two

Saturday

Three full rounds

Cloaked players around a candlelit table during a Trial

Trials

Team challenges of wits, nerve and teamwork. Win them to earn tokens, which add extra weight to your vote, and Sigils, which protect you from the Heretics for a night.

The Offering

Every token spent at a vote feeds the Offering. As it grows, it reaches milestones that give the Loyalists new ways to hunt the Heretics.

Which means a Heretic might quietly want a Trial to fail…

Excommunication

Cloaks on. The group debates who to trust, then everyone votes in secret, adding tokens for extra weight. The player with the most votes is cast out of the Order.

Sacrifice

In between, the Heretics meet in secret and choose someone to remove. At the next gathering, the High Priest walks silently around the table, and stops behind their chosen victim. Or doesn't.

Day three

Sunday

Ends by 5pm

The final Trial

One last push to grow the Offering before the Eclipse.

The Eclipse Ritual

Candles in hand, in silence, each survivor decides: switch it off if you believe every Heretic is gone, or leave it lit to vote again. No discussion, ever. When the last candle goes dark, the truth is revealed.

No Heretics left: the Order survives. Even one left standing: the Heretics claim the Offering.

Out isn't over

Eliminated? Welcome to the Eclipsed.

If you're voted out or sacrificed, your weekend carries on. The Eclipsed play a game of their own: secret missions to pull off without getting caught, and challenges to win tokens from other players.

You watch every vote in silence, knowing things the living don't. The Eclipsed player with the most tokens is crowned Eclipsed Champion before the final Ritual.
